Side by side on Cable Road are two vastly different houses that on first sight are united only by their simple, delineated grille gates. One a sophisticated glass and concrete cocktail, the other resembling an old colonial whiskey steeped with character - but both echoing a clean and airy aesthetic with large floor to ceiling windows gracing the living areas. 5 other bungalows exist in the heart of Cable Road, all further united by luxuriously kitted bathrooms and polished kitchens, with the younger ones getting a trendier splash of colour to the more conservative approach applied in the conserved house. Welcoming terraces line the pools, bringing to mind an old clubhouse or swanky bar.

Nestled in the east coast of Singapore within Pasir Ris Drive and close to Downtown East entertainment centre and White Sands shopping mall, the 99-year leasehold Executive Condominium development comprises 274 residential units, with amenities that include a basement carpark, a pool and entertainment deck, a clubhouse and communal facilities for the residents upgrading from public housing. The units have a square-shaped layout and are designed for good use of space, providing residents a sense of comfort and exclusiveness in the east. Construction-wise, the project was the first condominium in Singapore to use precast household shelters consisting of two L-shaped precast wall panels with a bomb shelter door frame. The project also adopted a flat floor plate system supported on internal shear walls, perimeter façade walls and columns for the apartment units which started the precast movement for better quality construction and reduced the unnecessary manpower onsite.

With glorious views across the Singapore city and bay, this new iconic glass landmark floats atop Marina Bay with sculptural magnificence, resembling a sail sculpture crafted by the hands of nature, setting new benchmarks for design innovation and urban luxury waterfront living concept: Live, Work & Play. Drawing inspiration from our collaborative efforts with NBBJ & Kiat Inc in this venture, the icon majestically soars 245 metres above sea level at the highest point is Singapore's tallest condominium building, having two towers standing at 70 storeys (Tower 1) and 63 storeys (Tower 2) with 1,111 residential units. The convenient Marina Bay address next to the Central Business District seamlessly connects the development to Raffles Place MRT through direct underground access and is minutes away to spectacular attractions like the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort, the Gardens by the Bay and the Merlion Pier. The open concept apartments with selections of one to four-bedroom units and penthouses come with branded appliances and top quality fittings, and can be doubled as home offices as well. Residents can also enjoy the ultimate luxury of urban waterfront living with panoramic views of the city and the bay area. Luxurious focal design elements and a symphony of colours flank the lobby and signature spaces, with a style that reminds you of a luxury hotel, or cruise ship. Apt, we think, for a modern sail.

The Solitaire is an exclusive gem set in the heart of Balmoral Park. This 12/13 storey residential development was created from a joint collaboration between Team Design Architects and Carlos OTT. The interesting topography resulted in buildings designed to sit on a unique site with drastic slope descending according to natural terraced terrain from Balmoral Park Road towards Robin Road. 3 mature Tembusu trees are conserved at the junction of Robin/Stevens Road, which enhance the elegance of the new development. The result presents a sensitive building design both refreshing and unique, which captures a challenging terrain and terracing landscape features. A strong signature of the curved facade design of the buildings comes from the large curving balconies and trellis beam features as sun shading devices, in response to the curving Robin Road. The overall design creates individuality, and with private lift provisions to the 3 and 4 bedroom units, result in the exclusive solitaire feel.

In terms of the restoration efforts, all architectural elements were retained, restored or reinstated to original form, which included the original stained glass panels, the wrought iron grilles, the internal stair and the light well with its moulded plaster panels and jackroof. The front verandah that extends outside the balcony was restored and kept open. The main entrance was relocated with a new car porch built, while the old entrance was transformed into an extra room.

This project involved the construction of two new building extensions: Block 978 and Block 988 at 970 and 998 Toa Payoh North. Block 978 is a new 5-storey multi-storey carpark block with multi-tenant production units at 1st and 2nd storey facing Braddell Road. Block 988 is a 8-storey fully air-conditioned BizHub with an exterior of tinted laminated glass and concrete panels to reduce heat gain. The main architectural theme expresses the building of a sustainable and environmentally friendly industrial building that yields operating cost savings after completion. These green features which include having the new buildings placed almost away from the direct west-facing orientation and the careful selections of lighting and sanitary fittings, lifts, building equipment and water treatment systems, were successfully achieved through deliberate architectural planning and design. The end result of this achievement was that the project earned the BCA Green Mark (Gold) award in 2013.
